FIELD: medicine, histology. SUBSTANCE: invention describes application of azo-derivative of Ash-acid and 2-(p-aminobenzenesulfamido)- thiazole as a dye of histological preparations. The proposed dye as 0.5% of aqueous solution using instead of eosin in combination with progressive method of staining provides to detect cell cytoplasm of different tissues with high efficiency involving delomorphous cells of stomach fundus glands, differentiate serocytes and mucocytes of proteinous and mixed glands and transverse striation of skeletal muscle tissue. Optimal staining time is 30 s. Method can be used in any method of tissue fixing. EFFECT: improved method of staining.
