SHAPED CHARGE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: blasting operations, design of shaped charges of directional action used in rock crushing, in cropping of metal waste, in destruction of concrete structures and in ammunition. SUBSTANCE: shaped charge comprises explosive placed in shell with shaped recess made in the form of central V-shaped recesses and peripheral V-shaped recesses. Central V-shaped recesses are intermated along lines converging to vertex of shaped recess, peripheral V-shaped recesses are intermated by planes along lines uniaxial to ribs of central V-shaped recesses. Additional planes are implemented in section passing through vertexes of broken lines limited by intersection of interior and exterior angles of newly formed exterior and interior polygons. Central V-shaped recesses conjugate to peripheral V-shaped recesses by means of additional planes and exterior vertexes of polygon and interior vertexes of exterior polygon match one another and vertexes of broken lines.
