FIELD: protection of data transmission traffic between first and second communication stations. SUBSTANCE: method involving data transmission from second communication station to first one according to data protocol includes comparison of data protocol with at least one standardized protocol, and only those data whose protocol corresponds to at least one standardized protocol are sent to first communication station. Device implementing this method has memory means saving data characteristics of at least one standardized protocol and transmission comparison means used to compare saved data characteristics with data protocol and to send only data whose protocol corresponds to at least one standardized protocol.
