FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of production of ammophos. Method of production of ammophos involves two-stage neutralization of ammonia with mixture of non-evaporated and evaporated phosphoric acids and sulfuric acid with combination of ratio SO3 : P2O5 = 0.03-0.11 and content of mass part of P2O5 40-47% in this mixture of acids being firstly to the mole ratio NH3 : H3PO4 = 0.6-0.8 in ammonizator-evaporator and then to 1.00-1.15 in tube reactor followed by granulation, drying, classification of ready product and the following treatment of exhausting gases for two stages with ammonium phosphate solutions with the mole ratio NH3 : H3PO4 = 0.4-0.8 at the first stage and 0.7-1.0 at the second stage up to attainment of sanitary norm of ammonia in exhausting gases. Method of production of ammophos gives the possibility to make optimal conditions of granulation, reduce degree of ammonia evolving in gas phase that provides the yield of commercial fraction (2-4 mm) to 95-98% being without alternation of product quality with simultaneous increase of power.
