FIELD: drilling equipment, hydraulic drives located in holes. SUBSTANCE: downhole hydraulic motor includes frame with member for linking to drill stem, space to feed flushing fluid, shaft installed for rotation in space to feed flushing fluid carrying at least one turbine wheel possessing spiral blades, one stator element, as minimum, anchored in space to feed flushing fluid and possessing conduits directing fluid flow which internal surface embraces side external surface of turbine wheel. Spiral blades come in the form of spiral grooves cut in section of side external surface of turbine wheel which length is shorter than its length over generating line. Conduits directing fluid flow have form of longitudinal grooves arranged in two groups on internal surface of each stator element with formation of separation section between groups over perimeter of internal surface. Number of longitudinal grooves located in one plane of cross-section is not equal to number of spiral grooves. EFFECT: simplified design and technology of manufacture of downhole hydraulic motor. 6 dwg
