PROCESS TO LOAD ROCK MASS WHILE DRIVING MINE WORKING AND GEAR FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to driving mine workings with the aid of drilling and blasting technology with loading of exploded rock mass on to conveyer-reloader of special design. Technical result of invention consists in shortened time of loading process, in increased rate of driving thanks to utilization of energy of explosives while breaking rock from rock mass for self-loading on to handling facilities, in reduced labor input and improved working conditions. Process to load rock mass while driving mine working includes feed of intake table with face conveyer for loading of rock mass broken by blast, its penetration into rock mass and uninterrupted loading of rock mass in one stope simultaneously over entire front of loading. Intake table is fed on to broken rock mass simultaneously with machining of ground in working with cutter bar positioned under intake table. Rock mass broken by blast is arranged in closed space limited by intake table, conveyer and side baffles placed on trays of intake table. Rock mass is loaded by movement of side baffles from walls of working on to running conveyer. Gear to load rock mass while driving mine workings has face conveyer mounted on handling facility that includes intake table and side members hinged to it. It is equipped with cutter bar mounted close to ground of working for change of its position in horizontal and vertical planes. Intake table is arranged above cutter bar and includes trays to which side members coming in the form of sectional baffles put vertically on trays of intake table are hinged. They work over entire width of working in point of capture of rock mass with constriction to width of conveyer in its extreme part and can move over tray with the use of hydraulic cylinders.
