FIELD: mining; applicable in degassing of highly gassy seams in driving of mine workings. SUBSTANCE: method includes driving of advance workings; drilling of barrier and face holes from advance workings toward driven workings; connection of said holes to gas suction system on side of advanced working. Barrier holes are drilled to zone of coal mass drainage, and face holes are drilled in faces of driven workings. EFFECT: higher efficiency of degassing of highly gassy seams and higher safety of work. 2 dwg
