FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: method deals with detecting RID-positively reacting animals. Additionally, it is necessary to repeatedly carry out serological RID-trials for positive blood sera under testing and at revealing specific precipitating antibodies to antigens to cattle leukosis virus in 1:8 titer, and higher, one should evaluate animal as a sick one. Said animal simplifies detection of sick animals suffering with cattle leukosis, shortens the terms of their staying in a herd that leads to the decrease of epizootic situation by leukosis, requires no high financial investments being simple and available for any veterinary laboratory. EFFECT: higher efficiency of detection. 2 tbl
