FIELD: electric-contact engineering; switching electric circuits such as those of space vehicles. SUBSTANCE: linear displacement measuring transducer has case, sliding contacts with insulating holder, bushing mounted for displacement and locking within case, responding member with reset spring joined to sliding-contact control member and mounted in bushing bore. Sliding-contact insulating holder is provided with slots to receive respective brushes and with polyhedral-section central bore; slot walls have holes to receive contact members of brushes; sliding-contact control member that follows shape of holder bore is placed in the latter; control member has rounded-off longitudinal projections and depressions for contacting cylindrical surfaces of brushes whose axes are perpendicular to those of control-member projections.
