FIELD: manufacture of pumps, specifically, pumping units delivering water from water-bearing strata, equipment used in water supply, water management and amelioration. SUBSTANCE: downhole pumping unit includes submersible pump mounted on water-lifting tube in casing string with hermetic cover and gear for vacuum treatment of well. Water-lifting tube is brought out through cover. Gear for vacuum treatment of well comes in the form of air blast engine which suction line is connected to closed space of well casing string and is fitted with collector carrying vacuum gauge and cyclone separator with valve of ultimate vacuum. Pressure line communicate with atmosphere through silencer. EFFECT: raised functional efficiency pumping unit thanks to intensified process of water intake. 1 dwg
