FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves treating intracranial portion of the facial nerve with pulsating magnetic field first applied to anterior central gyrus projection area and then to mastoid process for 10 min in each point. Magnetic field intensity is equal to 1.5-3.0 Tesla units. Electric stimulation of peripheral facial nerve portion is concurrently carried out in medial position with respect to the external acoustic meatus with electric current intensity being equal to 12-20 mA, impulse duration of 0.1-0.3 ms w rectangular impulses during 20 min. The treatment is carried out every day during 10-15 days. When required, the treatment course is repeated 1-1.5 months later. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 4 dwg
