FIELD: application of coats, 125-259 mcm thick at 100-% density without use of solvents. SUBSTANCE: device proposed for application of coats includes sprayer with spraying packing for directing liquid resin to substrate, passage for introducing liquid resin to spraying packing and liquid supply source connected with it. Spraying packing has cylindrical housing for reception of compressed air which is closed at one end and is provided with outlet hole for escape of compressed air, central passage formed in housing and used for supply of liquid resin to nozzle and two opposite passages formed in housing for supply of fine metal powder to diametrically opposite holes which are radially spaced apart from nozzle. Sprayer for convergent spraying ensures mixing of resin and metal powder beyond spraying packing; metal powder is fed through two diametrically opposite passages at angle of 0 and 90 deg. relative to central nozzle. Diameter of central nozzle of spraying nozzle is about 0.38 mm; diameter of air outlet hole is about 4.75 mm and angle of spraying is about 90 deg. Metal filler is introduced into convergent jet in low-pressure zone; content of liquid is regulated by means of automated system. Sprayer, control system and mixing chambers used for mixing two parts of resin and powder fillers are located in different rooms. Content of dust is checked in room where proportioning of powder fillers is performed. Metal powder is carried by two flexible pipe lines provided with teflon coat through two ejectors and two vibratory feeders at rate of 4500 g/h due to availability of monitoring system provided with logic programming controller. Provision is also made for pneumatic control system of powder supply; two-component polyurethane epoxy resin is delivered to sprayer at rate of 8 cu cm/min; provision is made for control of preset ratio of metal powder and resin after passage through mixing chamber which is provided with catalyst through hole of 0.38 mm in diameter; air is fed at pressure of 206.85 kPa for converting liquid resin into mist which is carried to substrate. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 17 cl, 5 dwg
