FIELD: air classifying (separating) loose materials for building, chemical, metal-working, mining, and other industries. SUBSTANCE: classifier that may be used to classify particles according to their size ranging between 5 and 300 mcm has cylindrical case, shaft-mounted conical cowl, tangentially mounted manifold for feeding primary air and material, shaft-mounted manifolds for discharging small and large products of separation disposed, respectively, on axes of top and bottom parts of case, turning blades for swirling secondary air; manifold for discharging small products is built of three coaxial cylinders, outer cylinder being solid structure and two inner ones mounted in an annular space relation to one another with swirling blade being installed in inner cylinder below annular space.
