FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of loose materials in flow and can be used in any industry where pneumatic transport is used, mainly in secondary processing of plastics. Device for dust separation from pneumatic transport flow of loose material consists of cyclone-type housing including cylindrical upper part, conical bottom part, tangentially located inlet branch pipe, axially located exhaust pipe, baffle made in the form of directed towards flow of cone, swirling blades, adjusting screw. Swirling blades are rigidly fixed on the baffle cone and are made in the form of arcs bent along the arc in the direction opposite to the direction of movement, which generatrix is parallel to the cone axis, and outer edge is limited by surface of conditional cylinder, base of which coincides with cone base. Adjustment screw is rigidly and coaxially fixed to cone and with possibility of longitudinal movement relative to housing axis. Value of diameter of cone base exceeds value of exhaust pipe diameter by value not exceeding half of difference of diameters of cylindrical part of housing and exhaust pipe.
EFFECT: technical result is simplification of device design, possibility of smooth adjustment of ratio of fine and coarse fractions without using additional energy sources.
