FIELD: farming; dehydration of various agricultural materials; processing of manure at poultry plants. SUBSTANCE: method includes loading the paste-like materials into drying chamber, feeding heat-transfer gas to this chamber followed by heat treatment and dehydration of material, cleaning waste gases in cyclones and scrubber and discharge of dehydrated material from cyclone. Pulp formed during cleaning dust-and-gas mixture in water-sprinkled scrubber is divided into two flows. One part of pulp is mixed with starting paste-like material and other part is brought in contact with dehydrated material. Paste thus obtained is granulated through extrusion. Dehydration of material in drying chamber is continued till residual moisture content is equal to 15- 25%; 30 to 70% of pulp formed during cleaning of dust-and-gas mixture in sprinkled scrubber is mixed with starting paste-like material to obtain moisture content of 60-90%, preferably 70-80% and remaining part of pulp (70-30%) is brought in contact with dehydrated material to obtain moisture content of paste of 30-50%, preferably, 35 to 45%.
