FIELD: pharmaceutical industry, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: vaseline and lanolin as components of the ointment base are melted and mixed with a medicinal agent. After melting components of ointment base are dehydrated and sterilized. Used vaseline has no reducing agents and used lanolin shows peroxide number 15, not above. Mixing with medicinal agent is carried out at 38- 42 C when medicinal agent is glycifon and at 28-32 C when tetracycline is used. Mixture is thermostatically controlled, homogenized, cooled and packaged. All operations are carried out in sealed equipment. Invention ensures to obtain compositions stable in storage.
