FIELD: computer-aided manufacture for automatic gripping of parts and their feeding to process-machine working area. SUBSTANCE: gripper has hollow body with cavity supplied with compressed air and is free to revolve about central axis. Nozzle is installed in bottom part of hollow body. Hollow body accommodates casing secured in its top part; its internal surface and external cylindrical surface of hollow body form annular discharge chamber communicating with hollow body through tangential holes. Gripper is provided with revolving swirl chamber formed by internal surfaces of hollow body and nozzle. Rotor disposed along center line of swirl chamber has assembly ring rigidly fixed with rotor shaft. Assembly ring slots accommodate radial guide ribs fastened at bottom part with circular bush that follow shape of internal surfaces of hollow body and nozzle and form diametrical clearance within swirl chamber. Proposed design ensures high degree of vacuum in zone corresponding to supporting surface of gripper. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of part gripping and holding. 3 dwg
