FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for automobiles with automatic clutches. Proposed automobile contains gearbox, automatic clutch control device, actuating unit to regulate torque transmitted from clutch and controlled by control unit in signal communication with pickups and, in case of necessity, with other electronic devices, for instance, through signal wires and/or data bus. Control unit defines slipping of clutch in zone of friction linings and by means of torque transmitted from clutch determines input of energy into zone of clutch friction linings and/or determines temperature rise of friction linings and/or excessive wear of friction linings. Novelty is that in case of increased input of energy and/or increased temperature rise and/or increased wear of friction linings, control unit at first time phase with duration of t1 controls torque from clutch independently from influence of input of energy, and at second time phase with duration of t2 it controls torque from clutch with change in time, for instance, in form of pulses, and at third time phase of duration of t3 it increases torque from clutch until engine speed becomes lower than threshold value or until time t3. expires.
