FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. The proposed control device comprises the first drive axle permanently actuated by the main power train, the second drive axle to be engaged with the main power train via an auxiliary power train and a control unit. The said auxiliary power train comprises the first clutch and the second clutch arranged in the transmission downstream of the first clutch to engage the second drive axle with the said main power train. The control unit engages in one mode at least one auxiliary power train second clutch, in case preset working conditions exists, to shifting into a standby mode. In the active standby mode, the control unit actuates the auxiliary power train first clutch to engage the second drive axle subject to at least one parameter.
EFFECT: higher reliability of the device is achieved.
