FIELD: construction of pipe-lines made of plastic, polyethylene, pipes in particular. SUBSTANCE: joint of plastic reinforced pipes includes interjoined metal flange couplings put on ends of joined pipes. Butts of couplings have annular grooves. Joined reinforced pipes are butt-welded. Pocket formed by annular grooves is filled with fin. According to invention pipes are butt- welded before flanges of metal flange couplings put on ends of welded pipes are pulled together. Formed fin fills annular grooves made in advance in butts of couplings. Couplings are mounted on pipes for axial movement with the help of thread, for example. EFFECT: ensured tightness of joint and integrity of reinforcing layer in zone of joint. 4 cl, 3 dwg
