SUBSTANCE: electrostatic pump that may be used for ventilation and air conditioning systems, for building up pressure in lines carrying dielectric liquids (such as for pumping diesel fuel) has housing accommodating discharge electrode in the form of electrically interconnected needles disposed in plane perpendicular to its central axis as well as collecting electrode in the form of grid. Both electrodes are connected to poles of high-voltage dc power supply or rectifier. Collecting electrode grid is made of aerodynamically smooth electrically interconnected sections. Pointed ends of discharge electrode needles are disposed so that those of closest needles constitute vortexes of equilateral triangle and distance between closest pointed ends of discharge electrode needles as well as that between closest aerodynamically smooth sections of collecting electrode makes up 0.5 to 1.5 of distance between discharge and collecting electrodes.
