METHOD FOR COMPLEX THERAPY OF DIFFUSE TOXIC GOITER Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, endocrinology. SUBSTANCE: one should carry out both pulse and acupuncture diagnostics to determine functional body state. Intake of tranquilizers, antidepressants, homeopathic preparation should be prescribed. One should conduct surface multi-needle acupuncture, percutaneous electroneurostimulation, point-to-point and deep massage of cervicobrachial area, back and gluteal areas. It should be alternated with deep massage of stomach. Thyroid gland tissue should be daily introduced with silver needles to its whole thickness. Acupuncture of corporal and auricular points is carried out daily for 15 d. Thermopuncture and light puncture are performed into the same corporal points. Magnetolaseropuncture is carried out for 15 seances. Simultaneously, one should perform chromatotherapy by using spectacles with color filters of blue, light-blue and green colors.
