FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: sessions of exposure to a low-intensity magnetic field through general magnetic therapy are conducted. At that, magnetic field induction varies from 1.5 to 3 mT, increasing by 0.2 mT at each session. The duration of exposure to the magnetic field is gradually increased from 10 to 20 minutes, for a course of 10 procedures. After each procedure of magnetic influence, a mechanotherapeutic traction action is performed on the cervical spine for 15 minutes, then a hypnosis session is performed for 30 minutes.
EFFECT: method provides high efficiency of treatment due to a complex effect aimed at brain metabolism modulation, interhemispheric interactions, antidepressant, anti-anxiety, calming effect, hypnotism, hypersensibility of the patient, his/her ability to reduce the dose of psychotropic drugs with a decrease in their side effects, shortened patient's stay in the hospital.
