FIELD: wood-working, methods for COLORING of softwood. SUBSTANCE: COLORING is conducted in two stages, first by a solution containing 1-4 g/l of p-diphenylendiamine of dihydrolide or p-aminophenol, then by a solution containing 10 to 40 g/l of potassium or sodium bichromate, or coloring is conducted in one stage by a solution containing 1-4 g/l p-diphenylendiamine or p-aminophenol and 10-40 g/l potassium or sodium bichromate, the process is accomplished at a temperature of the solution within 18 to 22 C.
