FIELD: rubber industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and composition of rubber mixture used for recovery of heavy tracked vehicle track links based on thereof. Rubber mixture for making track links and their recovery involves the following components, mas. p. p.: isoprene rubber, 70; butadiene rubber, 30; sulfur, 4; zinc oxide, 5; N-phenyl-N'-isopropyl-p-phenylenediamine-2,2- -phenylnaphthylamine, 0.8; stearin, 2; carbon black P-234, 120. Method of recovery of outworn track links from this mixture involves plasticizing mixture by heating up to 80-90 C. Then mixture is syringed and fed into the closed press-form of required configuration where track link is placed. Surface of track link is shot-blasted preliminary and ground coat and glue chemosil are applied on its. Vulcanization is carried out at 170 C, under pressure 15-20 kgf/cm2 and exposition for 30 min.
