FIELD: heating appliances. SUBSTANCE: filament is assembled of poly-m-phenylene isophthalamide, or poly-n-phenylene terephthalamide, or poly-n- benzamide base synthetic fibers and carbon filler (commercial carbon or graphite). Filler is distributed in mentioned fiber with mass proportion of synthetic fiber and filler from 1:0.2 to 1:0.3. Heat-resistant fiber-forming polymer solution doped with commercial carbon while stirring it is prepared for filament manufacture. It is dispersed to obtain colloidal solution; solvent is additionally introduced in this solution to reduce concentration of heat-resistant fiber-forming polymer to 6-7%. Then colloidal graphite is added and dispersed in colloidal solution. Carbon-containing fibers are formed from spin dope using dry-and-wet process.
