FIELD: thermal engineering; feedwater thermal deaeration. SUBSTANCE: deaerator has housing with end plates of which upper one has emitting gas outlet pipe, inlet and outlet compartments provided with tangential nozzles for inlet of liquid to be deaerated and outlet of deaerated liquid, respectively; hollow wall of housing is provided in vicinity of inlet compartment and has tangential nozzles or holes for communication with outlet compartment; hollow wall communicates with deaerating water source. Inner wall of housing in vicinity of inlet compartment and housing wall in vicinity of outlet compartment are made, respectively, in the form of shaped contraction and diffuser smoothly joined together. Upper end plate is provided with reservoir communicating with emitting gas outlet pipe and has bottom with holes to pass emitting gases; it is filled with Rashig rings covered on top with screen. Reservoir is disposed either inside housing or on upper end plate and its side wall is conoidal to inner wall of upper compartment and has holes to pass emitting gases. EFFECT: enhanced operating efficiency of deaerator. 3 dwg
