FIELD: fur farming. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with stimulating reproductive functions in the main stock of furred animals. The method for stimulating reproductive functions in minks deals with supplementation of the main diet for pedigree stock with biologically active additive as 10%-suspension of ginseng cell culture which should be added for a month before rut for males and females at the quantity of 5-7 ml/kg body weight, then during rut -daily for males and females at the quantity of 3-5 ml/kg body weight and then during the first half of pregnancy only for females - daily at the same dosage. Trials conducted have proved efficiency of bioadditive action by the scheme suggested. Females' fertility is increased by 6.8-13.7%, that is by 0.65-0.9 kits, kits' output per the main female exceeds that in control group by 21.1-34.8%, that is 1.15- 1.9 kits, decrease of dead-born kits - by 26.3-42.1%.
