FIELD: fur animal farming.
SUBSTANCE: one should supplement the main diet with an additive as a 2%-aqueous propolis extract to be introduced into feeding diet at the quantity of 4-6 ml/kg body weight by 15-d-long courses/monthly, daily during morning feeding during the whole period of animals raising. The present innovation enables to increase silver color of fur by the first silver group up to 95-100%, and the mark by the quality of fur production up to 92-104%. Commercial youngsters of silver fox exceed control animals by 8-13.2% by growth tempo, fur silver color improved by 5.9-7.8%.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of feeding.
