FIELD: cosmetology. SUBSTANCE: cation monobenzene nitroanilines with at least one cation, which is displaced on unsaturable polynitrogen-containing heterocycle with five links, are used as direct colors for coloring keratin substances, particularly, man's hair. Invention also deals with coloring composition which is used for direct coloring of keratin fibers, particularly, hair. Proposed coloring compositions possess higher coloring ability and wide spectrum of coloring, higher stability to various aggressive actions to which hair may be subjected.
