FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: working tool for applying fertilizer into soil is made in the form of flat disk with trapezium-shaped teeth and straight fertilizer transporting trays mounted on disk and oriented in direction opposite to direction of rotation, and fertilizer baffles positioned at the site of exit of particles from trays. Fertilizer transporting trays are arranged at angle not greater than right angle to radial direction to side opposite to direction of rotation. Trays have trough-shaped section similar to that of truncated circular ring. Trough-shaped side is facing to side opposite to direction of rotation. Circular ring is truncated so that angle between tangent to outer point and vertical plane is smaller than fertilizer particle and tray material friction angle. Baffles are made flat and mounted on disk for angular displacement through angle less than 90 deg to tray surface to side opposite to direction of rotation. In the process of applying fertilizer, fertilizer particles acquire absolute speed enabling particles to be secured in soil or pinched behind disk tool, which results in creating of continuous vertical screen from fertilizer.
