FIELD: mining industry; manufacture of building materials; energy saving technologies. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes sensor showing consumption of material delivered for crushing, feeder capacity regulator, sensor showing consumption of power taken by crusher, hour-meter, crusher discharge slot width regulator, crusher material size sensor and criteria selector unit. Device is additionally provided with unit for calculating relative power requirements per ton of crushed material whose first input is connected to second output of material consumption sensor and second input is connected with power sensor output, its third input is connected with second output of hour- meter; device is also provided with extrapolator which is just unit for calculating predicted size of crushed material; its first input is connected with output of unit calculating relative power requirements per ton of crushed material and second input is connected with first output of crushed material size sensor; device is provided with material relative hardness calculating unit whose first input is connected with output of extrapolator and second input is connected with second output of crushed material size sensor; device is also provided with unit for calculating target fraction and limitation coefficients whose input is connected with output of material relative hardness calculating unit and output is connected with input of optimizer whose first output is connected with second input of feeder capacity regulator and second output of optimizer is connected with second input of crusher discharge slot width regulator.
