FIELD: aviation; attachments of fairings and cowlings; helicopters and other transport facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed cowling has doors articulated with fuselage for opening the cowling by turning the doors downward relative to horizontal longitudinal axis. Secured in cavity of cowling at front and rear on door and fuselage are brackets for holding the cowling in open position; they are connected in pairs by ropes fitted with fork end-pieces at the ends; fork end-pieces are articulated with brackets for turn in mutually perpendicular planes under action of clamp-shaped springs; in closed position, end-pieces are turned towards each other.
