FIELD: domestic appliances for heating running water on gas cooker. SUBSTANCE: portable water heater operating on two burners of gas cooker has heat accumulating casing accommodating water heating element made of metal tube with its both ends provided with two flexible hoses, one for cold water admission and other, for hot water outlet, inner surface of casing being covered with multilayer heat-resistant heat insulation which is coated with protective material; water heating element is made in the form of a few zigzag-shaped or concentric tubular coils disposed in tandem in several tiers, one on top of other, within casing that has control valve in its top part; planar coils of bottom tier are locally disposed above cooker burners and tilted to cooker through angle α which may be from 3 to 15 deg; in addition admission hose is joined on one end through flexible sleeve to kitchen-sink mixer nozzle and outlet hose is provided with separate nozzle that has clamp for joining to kitchen-sink mixer nozzle. In addition water heating element may be made of thin-walled copper, brass, stainless-steel, or aluminum tubes; each coil of bottom tier is made of parallel straight tubes spaced 1-5 mm apart and their ends are joined together with aid of rectilinear or semicircular tie plates to form tubular series circuit.
