FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to screw pumps used as hand tools with self-contained drive or installed on wheeled cart and designed for handling any liquids, including, viscous, plastic and viscoplastic materials. Inlet part of screw has less number of screw blades than outlet part. Screw is connected with drive through reduction gear. Outlet part is arranged in cylindrical space of housing. Inlet part of screw projecting from housing is enclosed by fixed screen casing. Blades of inlet part are provided with beads, outlet branch pipe is connected to housing tangentially, and end faces of blades of screw outlet part are tightly connected with disk whose diameter is equal to diameter of screw blades. Disk is rigidly connected to screw shaft. Additional plates are symmetrically connected to disk and screw shaft in spaces between blades of outlet part. Length of plates does not exceed width of channels between blades of outlet part, and their height does not exceed radius of disk.
EFFECT: increased capacity of pump operating at high head with simultaneous decrease of power consumption.
