FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has posterior sheet of the absorbing article directly facing the envelope and is attached to it making a set. The set is wrapped by folding transverse flanges in longitudinal direction one over the other, for packing the article and preventing glue for sticking to cloths, from becoming dirty. The package is made three-ply in transverse direction to build an e-shaped folded package. Wrapping and folding is carried out by means of conveyor line equipped with simple machines without applying reverse movement of products. Folding is carried out by means of mechanism accomplishing three-ply folding that travels for moving wrapped packages over the second three-ply folding mechanism mounted on the conveyor line and rotates for folding packages into e-shaped folded packages. EFFECT: excluded usage of tear-off strips and packages. 25 cl, 24 dwg
