FIELD: medical engineering; medicine. SUBSTANCE: complex is produced by treating technical carbon with concentrated sulfuric acid in nitric acid presence with selenium dissolved therein under sinusoid high frequency electromagnetic field (20-30 MHz) with power flow density of 5•10-3 W/cm2. The means is produced as liquid or ointment containing additional filler. Method involves administering the hydrosulfate carbon-selenium complex at a dose of 0.1-0.2 ml. When treating skin melanoma cases distinguished by radial propagation of tumor growth, ointment form is of preference. When treating nodular melanoma cases distinguished by radial or vertical propagation of tumor growth, ointment form is also of use.
