FIELD: marine electric propulsors. SUBSTANCE: proposed drive has streamlined electric motor fitted to drive nacelle which is mounted on ship s bottom by means of hollow trunk. Heat given off by electric motor is received by water flowing through surface of drive nacelle and through heat releasing surfaces of trunk. Besides that, devices for improving heat conductivity and heat emission are provided. Proposed device ensures reliable cooling of engine in tropics and equalization of temperatures of engine components. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability. 7 cl, 6 dwg
