FIELD: lubricants. SUBSTANCE: process grease used in metallurgy and in metal-working shops, in particular in metal forming (dragging, rolling, stamping, etc. ) and metal machining (cutting, drilling, milling, etc.). Grease is prepared from low-grade vegetable oils, which are preheated to 70-80 C and then supplemented by KOH catalyst and triethanolamine at stirring. Reaction is carried out for 3-4 h at 130-140 C. After cooling to 70-80 C, emulsifier OP-10 or OP-7 and mustard powder are added to give product composed of, wt %: vegetable oil 60-70, KOH 1- 3, triethanolamine 20-23, emulsifier 3-5, mustard powder 3-5, and water - the balance.
