FIELD: natural gas handling equipment. SUBSTANCE: system has reservoir for storing liquefied natural gas under pressure of 1,035-7,590 kPa and at temperature of -123 - -62 C. Reservoir is manufactured from superstrong low-alloy steel with nickel content less than 9 wt%. Said steel has tensile strength exceeding 830 MPa and plastic to fragile rupture transition temperature of less than -73 C. Joints between individual sheets have tensile strength and toughness under indicated pressure and temperature conditions sufficient for storing natural liquefied gas. EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced costs. 22 cl, 10 dwg
