FIELD: pipe lines for transporting liquefied natural gas at pressure about 1035-7590 kPa and temperature of -123 to -62 C. SUBSTANCE: pipes and their components are made from high-strength low-carbon steel containing less than 9 wt-% of nickel at breaking strength of 830 Mpa and temperature of transition from viscous to brittle state below -73 C. Any seam at points of connection of steel sheets possesses strength and impact elasticity required for maintenance of liquefied natural gas under above-mentioned conditions.
