FIELD: mining, particularly, withdrawal of methane from gaseous coal beds. SUBSTANCE: method consists on borehole drilling and hydraulic rupturing of coal bed from boreholes by pulse injection of fluid and air. Boreholes are interconnected by hydraulically ruptured slot, and coal methane is withdrawn from boreholes. Gas discharging boreholes are periodically closed and pressure in injection borehole is increased to value close to pressure of coal rupture. Opening-closing cycle of gas discharging borehole is multiply repeated. Fluid is injected into coal bed through both boreholes under ON-OFF conditions. EFFECT: higher production rate of withdrawn coal methane and degree of coal bed degassing with reduced specific expenditures for coal beds degassing. 3 cl, 1 dwg
