FIELD: mechanical engineering; manufacture of hydraulic turbines; connection of shafts of hydraulic turbines with shafts of hydraulic generators and working wheels of hydraulic turbines. SUBSTANCE: taper inner projection of bush is made in immediate proximity of parting plane of flanges to be connected; bolt is provided with mating outer taper band engageable with bush projection. Push fit of external taper bands of bolts in inner taper projections of bush is ensured during assembly by tightening the nuts. External taper bands of bolts create pressure on internal taper surfaces of bush projections, thus providing for additional increase of negative allowance between ends of bush and holes of flanges. As a result, clearances between external taper bands of bolts and internal taper projections of bushes and external cylindrical surface of bushes and flange holes are eliminated. Smooth operation of all bolts of unit and its load-carrying capacity are ensured. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 1 dwg
