FIELD: multipurpose study and determination of reserves of new kind of hydrocarbon feedstock for its commercial production and use in oil and gas branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: linkage between weight concentrations of high-molecular basic material with porosity coefficients for individual objects is established on basis of study of materials of geophysical and geochemical methods of examination of wells, rock specimens and nature of bed-forming carbonate matrix. This correlation linkage is base and tool for evaluation of reserves of high-molecular basic material, not taken into account before, differentially for stratigraphic objects, individual sections and zones of oil and gas saturation. Mathematical dependence of quantitative characteristics ( geological reserves ) of field on its qualitative indices is established with the use of correlation linkage Chmbm = f(Kp), materials of geophysical examinations of wells and data of analysis of properties of rock specimens.
