FIELD: sawmill and wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: cutting unit has centering rollers with axes of rotation arranged in plane parallel to axis of rotation of saw along feeding direction. Centering rollers of pair of rollers are positioned for simultaneous rocking and sliding relative to saw and are arranged at side adjacent to side of feeding material to be sawn with respect to saw axis of rotation. Such construction allows saw jamming due to deposition of sawdust and contaminant on saw blade to be eliminated, when roller restrictors are used for restricting deviation of saw blade.
