FIELD: wet-type separation of solid materials; concentration of dump products. SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in separation of heavy and light fractions of solid particles of starting material performed at different velocity of their precipitation in gravitational force field during motion of pulp flow on movable plate of base. In way of its motion, pulp is loosened by jets of liquid directed from sides of pulp flow at acute angle relative to trajectory of flow in plane parallel to plane of plate or jet of liquid is swirled around its axis. Device proposed for realization of this method has receiving bin, chute inclined towards unloading side provided with overflow lip and unloading holes in bottom which is located at axial line of chute near bend of chute bottom, driving water branch pipes fitted in end walls of chute whose outlet shear is located in one axis in two opposite walls of chute, transportation water supply branch pipes and chute swinging unit. According to first version, at least two transportation water supply branch pipes whose axes are directed at acute angle to longitudinal axis of chute. Transportation water supply branch pipes and driving water branch pipes may be provided with inner swirlers, thread for example. According to second version, bottom is provided with one or several riffles; driving water branch pipes are located at base of one riffle and at least one riffle is made before or after unloading hole.
