FIELD: methods and devices for separation of finely-dispersed particles including forming of mobile heavy medium. SUBSTANCE: material to be separated moves over inclined platform suspended from four ropes; platform consists of sectional flushing chutes. Material to be separated is accelerated over inclined surface and total speed of pulp is reduced in groove of each sectional chute. Material to be separated is acted on by flow of water, thus obtaining suspended heavy fraction with smoothly distributed ascending liquid fraction over entire volume of sectional chute; suspended heavy fraction is twisted by tangential supply of water between coaxial cylindrical surfaces; heavy fraction is held on conical underlying surface by circular motion of platform.
