FIELD: aviation; helicopter control systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed device is used for compensation of reactive torque of single-rotor helicopters by forming difference of pressures exerted on surfaces of tail boom at the right and at the left. Proposed device includes three and more longitudinal fins mounted on the outside of one board of tail boom on side of advancing blade of main rotor one under other at preset distance owing to which air flows passing around tail boom interfere with separation of induced flow of main rotor from surface of tail boom in wide spectrum of angles. EFFECT: improved flight characteristics due to partial compensation of reactive torque in hovering and at low speed; enhanced efficiency of tail unit. 4 dwg
