FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing sintered tungsten-base heavy alloys used for making articles subjecting for significant total deformation up to 50-80%, for example, for special articles. Invention proposes tungsten- -base alloy comprising cobalt, tantalum, nickel, iron that comprises additionally lanthanum in the following ratio of components, wt. -%: cobalt, 0.6-0.8; tantalum, 0.2-0.4; nickel, 2.0-5.0; iron, 1.2-1.6; lanthanum, 0.1-0.2; tungsten, the balance. Invention provides making articles with density 17.8-18.2 kgf/cm3 and enhanced indices of density and plasticity. EFFECT: enhanced and valuable properties of alloy. 1 tbl, 1 ex
