FIELD: manufacture of reflective coverings for protecting individual from high heat and radiation effects. SUBSTANCE: covering has two layers, one of layer being 20-250 nm thick silver layer and other being titanium oxide or zirconium oxide layer. Covering of such structure increases transmission coefficient and thermal radiation reduction factor allowing said covering to be used for manufacture of masks for firemen, operators working in metallurgical plants in visual control modes for controlling high-temperature processes, for producing firemen clothing, special tents, as well as for manufacture of reflective surfaces of power units, such as solar ray concentrators. EFFECT: increased mechanical and chemical strength of covering and provision for using said covering on polymeric substrates. 3 cl, 2 dwg
